ItalyBeautiful Ryokan in the area of Gero Onsen. We couldn't use the private onsen as it needs to be reserved in advance, however the public one was very good and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves in the evening. Exceptional multi-course dinner and breakfast with very good service. Convenient private parking right in front of the place. Very spacious and clean traditional ryokan room. Extremely kind and helpful staff. This was the best accomodation in our whole 3-weeks Japan trip!

AustraliaLOVED THIS ACCOMODATION it felt like switching off and going back in time The staff are amazing and so hard working and the location is stunning. I found the traditional futon a bit uncomfortable to sleep on but it was nice to try out for a night the fact that the doors to the private onsen open up so you can enjoy the breeze and scenery is wonderful as is their shuttle service

Incredible traditional onsen with modern features. Very high quality, traditional, Japanese fine cusine. The onsen was beautiful and water was crystal clear. Private onsen was also excellent. Views and natural surrounds outstanding. Staff service was very good, and several staff spoke English very well. Highly recommend.

Location is about 5 mins drive from train station . If arriving between 1:30pm to 6 pm , just hope into a taxi and be driven to the ryokan for free . The room is clean and the view is superb .Meals were provided in private rooms . The outdoor onsen is small but clean and the ambience is great .
