What a wonderful experience we had at Seacrat View. Namal, Dilani, Sanjana, Tahuka and Namal's parents made us so welcome and part of their family. Right from the first contact with Namal we were impressed abd appreciated how easy they made our stay in Ella. They made our experience in Ella such a good one. Namal's instructions were excellent and we knew he was only a whatsapp mesaage away if we ever wanted to be picked up. We loved the walk from their place to town. The breakfasts were perfect and the view was amazing. It felt like they would do anything for us to make us comfortable and ensure we loved Ella. Sanjana and Tahuka were so polite and friendly and made us feel very special. We extended our stay and didn't want to leave. Dilani organised a tuk tuk for 2 days of excursions. This was her brother Buddika who was also an excellent driver. Highly recommend a stay with this family.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and clean. Each room has an amazing view of the greenery. Very kind and helpful staff. They really take care of their guests. I stayed there with a friend and we felt well looked after. The staff help with arranging transport to the places you want to visit. You can definitely relax at this property. We would be happy to come back again.

We cannot fault this stay. From the beginning to the end the owner was incredibly kind, generous and helpful. We stayed during the recent cyclone, he kept us fully up to date and let us stay for however long we needed. We had dinner and breakfast here every morning - portions were huge and delicious! He also came by often to check if we needed any tea, coffee or fruit. We truly cannot recommend this stay more. The room was clean, cosy and had everything you needed. Don’t be put off by the location a short and cheap tuk tuk ride will take you into Ella centre which the owner assisted with booking.

What a beautiful place ! The garden, the house, the location, the outlook, everything was wonderful to look upon. The stillness, the sound of the birds and the temple prayers. The team were incredible - so helpful and lovely to chat with. We became close with them during our stay. The food was exceptional- I don’t think we’ve eaten so well before on holiday.

What a stunning location and such a friendly and kind family! The rooms are absolutely stunning and the location genuinely unbeatable. You do have to be prepared to walk up and down a large flight of stairs to benefit from that beauty but it is totally worth it. The hosting family were extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to any traveller looking for somewhere off the beaten track!

I loved the beautiful view from the hostel. It is located about 10-15 mins from Ella city center, worth the little walk. The beds are perfect - curtains provide for absolute privacy, and I think the beds are a little wider than usual. There is a lamp and socket by each bed, and everyone has a big storage to lock personal things, my onboard size suitcase fitted in it easily. The bathroom is ok. I also appreciated the possibility to get hot water any time from the machine by reception, to make a hot drink. The breakfast included in the price is definitely sufficient. Great value for money.
