Very nice, clean hotel in a convenient location away from the main road. Amenities were good, room was clean and shower was warm. Furthermore they were kind enough to pack me breakfast at 6am on the day of departure. Big plus: The rooftop lounge has an excellent view and menu. Recommendable also to folks not staying at Kutumba.

Every staff member we interacted with was professional, pleasant, and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is just perfect, with the hotel being a 5-star immaculate hotel that’s literally a 5-minute walk to the heart of the buzz of Thamel. We wished we had discovered this gemstone hotel earlier during our stay in Kathmandu and would have preferred staying at The Barahi for all of our time in Kathmandu.
