As we have previously lived in Dubai, we didn't need to be near the tourist spots, so this area was perfect for us. Staff were all lovely and friendly. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Bonus was having access to the lagoon - get there early to get a sunbed! It's an area that is still under construction, so there is a bit of noise, but nothing that impacted our stay. There is a walk along the creek you can do that has stunning views looking back towards the centre of Dubai, especially at sunset.
