I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Nestled in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula's renowned wine region, Jackalope offers a luxurious retreat, just an hour from Melbourne's CBD. Location is set in a vineyard with beautiful scenery, breakfast choice and presentation was fabulous. Great staff. Loved the daily activities, walks, yoga, master cooking class, wine tasting. Room comfortable with all the amenities you need and a full stocked bar fridge.

This house is absolutely stunning! It’s beautifully decorated and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need. Elissa was an incredible host—so easy to communicate with and incredibly generous. We felt right at home and will definitely be returning! The photos don’t capture how spacious and open the house feels, with tall ceilings and plenty of natural light. The linens were soft, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Highly recommend!
