The Hotel is located in a forest area right next to the main road, but you feel like you are on island by yourself. The surrounding area is filled by the echoes of birds, monkeys and beautiful nature. The beach is just 5 min walking distance from the Hotel and you get the feeling the beach is just yours, we went to swim everyday and there were just a handful of people on the beach. The hotel it self has a open restaurant with the pool view, we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was really good. The pool is also amazing and clean. The room is fairly sized, cleaned everyday and modern with good WIFI. The staff was really helpful and polite. One of the best stays we ever had :)

Diese Unterkunft am Strand begrüßt Sie in Puerto Viejo. Estblishment set 40 m away from the beach., weniger als 1 km von Chiquita Beach entfernt. The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, nestled in an abundant lush jungle with cute critters, monkeys, sloths, hummingbirds, and birds. We stayed in the "Americana" room, which was towards the back of the property and away from other rooms. Overall, the room was very comfortable with beautiful décor. The room comes with a way to make coffee with fresh grounds, which is the best I've had in a hotel room or Airbnb. The breakfast that's included with the stay is delicious. The staff is beyond friendly. Special thanks to Moises for helping us spot the sloths! We loved being right on the beach to read and relax.

It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.
