Just outside the Connemara National Park, this 19th-century hotel has a restaurant, tennis court and free parking and Wi-Fi. Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

The lodge was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and cozy !!

Offering a garden and garden view, Bruíon Connemara is located in Cleggan, 15 km from Kylemore Abbey and 15 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial. The apartment, housed in a building dating from 2021, is 44 km from the Maam Cross. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.4 km from Cleggan Bay Beach. The house is just great, wonderfully comfortable, very clean, well equipped, very well decorated, you feel right at home. It is also very quiet. We were lucky enough to see some wonderful sunsets from the living room. Liam and Tina (and Doggy :) ) made us feel very welcome and gave us some very good tips to visit the area, as well as making delicious homemade scones. The location is just perfect to visit all the places in Connemara (Clifden, Sky Road, Diamond hill, the amazing Omey island and so more..).We would have love to stay longer. Highly recommended.
