This apartment was incredible. The owners are very lovely and we messaged a lot prior. They picked us up from the train station as there are no taxis. He drove us around the town showing us all the areas we will be visiting. The room is beautiful and the bed is so comfortable. We did not use the sauna as it's very hot outside. The hot tub was lovely to use. There is air conditioning in the living space and the bedroom. The fridge was stocked with yoghurts, water and jucies. There is plenty of coffee and tea options. Croissants and pancakes available for breakfast and lovely fruit bowl. We would love to return some day in a colder month to experience the sauna relax again.

Not only are you within walking distance (1.5 km) of the edge of picturesque Cortona, on the way you will come across a beautiful old remote district at the old city wall before you descend into the city. You will always come across a formidably beautiful view of the plain to the south and west of Cortona. The view from the terrace by the pool, and even from the own bistro of 'Agli Amici' is also breathtaking. In the distance, Lake Trasimeno is also always showing off. Don't be fooled by the term 'bistrot'; in the room where an enormously varied and super tasty breakfast can be served in the morning, the most delicious local dishes and wines are served in the evening. It is a particularly good restaurant where the jack-of-all-trades Silvia and her small but very competent team ensure top service, with expert explanations about wines and dishes. And of course, breakfast tastes even better on the cinematically beautiful terrace with a view of the valley and Lake Trasimeno in the distance. The rooms are tastefully and modernly furnished. Don't expect a refined agriturismo (which is also beyond reproach), but this is just a little more refined. The name has already been mentioned a few times: hostess Silvia spares no effort to please her guests. This is an absolute must.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the rooms spotless, and our dog was treated like a real guest — such a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious with lots of local products, also food from the menu during lunch/dinner and the spa and fitness area were great for relaxing (water, cogfee and tea always available).

L’établissement Chimera Tuscany Resort se trouve à Arezzo, à 6,7 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Piazza Grande. The host was amazing and helped us with a late arrival. Sent a person to open the gate and check us in to the property. The location was amazing - a slice of heaven in Tuscany. The breakfast was great with a full set of choices with breads, meats and juices and coffees. The lady was very accommodating with refills. It was served in an open area. We met an elderly couple who were travelling from Germany as well and we spent a good 2 hours chatting. This is a must visit location.

The room is very modern and spacious with all necessary items. The owner lives next door and is very welcoming and accommodating. Guests are given vouchers good at 2 different bars for typical Italian breakfasts. The hotel is on the Main Street of the old city near a fine restaurant (Via Roma 7) and near the cathedral.

Endroit superbe, qualité du service au top, un personnel attentionné et à l’écoute , un excellent petit déjeuner généreux et varié. Une vue imprenable sur les collines toscanes , à 5 mn du centre due la ville médiévale. Nous recommandons vivement d’y séjourner qq jours.

The room with jacuzzi was just perfect, spotless clean, new furniture and very comfy bed. The food it's just great, we ate for 2 days at the restaurant of the hotel, strongly suggested! The staff was friendly and helpful.

L'Hotel San Michele est situé dans l'un des plus anciens bâtiments de Cortone, l'ancien palais Baldelli, stratégiquement situé en plein cœur de la ville. We loved everything about this hotel, what a fantastic place to stay!! The staff were so friendly and so helpful, the whole hotel brimming with character and in the perfect location. Highly recommended
