The hotel feels grand and new. Staffs make you feel like VIP. They even help us to wipe our luggage’s on the day of arrival and it was drizzling. In the evening, while we were doing wefie in the lobby, the porter came over and offered to take pictures. From the room we have a clear view of Kumamoto castle. The location is on the shopping street.

The service was excellent, everything was taken care of and you just need to decide on the timing to eat your breakfast and dinner. The onsen were superb - many rooms to choose from and not very crowded (visited in end Oct). A great place to forget about everything else and relax. The Kurokawa area is gorgeous too!

The ryokan is great - luxury and tradition in one. It is near Suizenji Park and guests get free admission. That was a highlight.

Beautiful serene location, world class amenities, the food was outstanding and the service was attentive, patient and friendly especially Kavita . The food was exceptional, the chef went out if his way to cater for our 11 year old

This hotel is incredibly convenient, being located right next to Amu Plaza Kumamoto, Kumamoto Station, and the Tram Station. Plenty of dining options (take away, food court to Michelin guide restaurant) and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. I especially enjoyed the public hot bath tub. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The underground parking lot was easy to access with a lift, and it only cost 1000 Yen (with the coupon from the hotel) Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel.
