Property was conveniently located in the beautiful Bikan Historical Quarter approximately 10:15 minute walk from the Kurashiki train station. I believe it is the oldest ryokan in town. It was not overly luxurious, however, it was quite clean and comfortable. Our room had a private bath and a wonderful backyard garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and kaiseki dinners were so tasty and very authentic Japanese.

Lovely touch of luxury. Perfectly located for ferries to the islands. Excellent staff. Excellent. Great mini break in a busy holiday. No hesitation recommending or returning.
