The location of the hotel was truly excellent. There was a Mega Don Quijote store right across the street, and another Don Quijote inside the plaza where the hotel is located. Besides that, it was in a very central part of Shibuya. However, if you plan to use the subway or arrive from the airport with luggage, walking from the station to the hotel might be a bit difficult, since it’s not right next to the station but about a 5–6 minute walk. I’d recommend keeping that in mind. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. We had a few different situations with our luggage, and they assisted us every time. We honestly couldn’t find any negative points about the hotel. The only thing is that it was a bit expensive compared to nearby hotels. Also, the room was somewhat small. Did it work for us? Yes, because I kept the room very tidy. But if you don’t keep things as organized, you might feel a bit cramped with luggage. Still, it wasn’t a big problem.

The aparthotel is just across from the underground station and has a family mart which is in the same building thus very useful. One can either eat in the room as room has a comfortable kitchenette or eat at the various eateries close by. Room has a washing machine but no dryer. However, this is not a concern as the shower converts into a drying room. The appliances are in Japanese however the host has prepared easy to follow instructions on how to operate.

MIMARU Tokyo Ikebukuro bevindt zich in de wijk Toshima in Tokyo, en biedt gratis WiFi en kamers met 4 sterren. Na een lange reis van 20 uur kwamen we aan bij Mimaru Ikebukuro. Omdat onze kamer al klaar was, mochten we er een uur eerder in. Heel fijn! De kamer was goed uitgerust. Een klein keukentje met alles wat je nodig hebt. Iedere dag schone handdoeken. Heel vriendelijk personeel. En met de trein 15-20 min. naar Shibuya of Shinjuku. In de buurt genoeg eetgelegenheden en supermarktjes. Een Family Mart op de hoek van de staat. Perfect om een ontbijtje te scoren.

Ulu Tokyo is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Koto (Speciale Wijk) in Tokyo, en is gelegen op 5 minuten lopen van Shibusawa Eiichi Taku Monument, 700 meter van Site of Mutsu Munemitsu Residence en 6... So peaceful but close to everything.
