Die Unterkunft Isla Retreat bietet ein Fitnesscenter, einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse in Fehendhoo. Wirklich eine aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Die familiäre Athmosphäre macht es aus. Total ungezwungen. Direkte Lage am Merr (kein Bikinistrand), Dachterasse mit hammer Ausblick, Fahrräder stehen zur Verfügung gegen kleinen Aufpreis, damit ist man sehr schnell am traumhaften Bikini Beach. Kleiner Laden mit Getränken und Snacks in der Nähe. Es empielht sich auch den einen oder anderen Ausflug zu machen, welche im Hotel angeboten werden. Besuch der Nachbarinsels ebenfalls lohnenwert. Top Essen. Trinkwasser steht im Zimmer genügend kostenlos zu Verfügung. Aufpreis für Zimmer mit Meerblick sehr lohnenswert.

We chose to stay at this hotel not only because of how beautiful it looks, but also because of the wonderful reviews we read — and yes, they were absolutely true! Count me in as one of the happy guests who truly experienced their excellent service and cleanliness. From the moment we checked in, everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Mr. Riyaz for warmly welcoming us and sharing helpful information about the island and nearby spots. The room smelled fresh and was spotless! What impressed us most was how consistent the housekeeping team was — keeping our room clean every day and attending to our small requests with care. Their breakfast and dinner service was also excellent. I celebrated my birthday here, and they made it truly special — from a beautiful seafood dinner setup by the beach, to a homemade cake, room decorations, and even a surprise beachside dance moment where I felt like I owned the whole island! It’s amazing how attentive they were, even to guests’ birthdates. The hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations. We became friends with David Moorthi, and Sanjeewan, who always made sure we were safe and comfortable, especially at the beachside, until the moment we checked out. We also booked our excursions with them — the Manta Ray and Whale Shark tours — and on our first day, we met the amazing Mr. Pocky, known as the “Manta Man” and one of the owners of Chak’z 1964. Once you book, the team keeps you updated on when you’ll head out for the search. At first, Mr. Pocky seemed quiet and mysterious, but he truly lived up to his words: “If you dive with me, you are safe.” The moment I jumped into the ocean, he never left my side — even held my hand throught the time — and made sure other divers’ flippers didn’t hit me. My best friend’s guide also made sure she was safe at all times.

Es war wirklich eine super schöne Unterkunft mit sehr sehr lieben Menschen und die perfekte Lage direkt am Dschungel. Die Insel insgesamt ist wirklich ein Traum & nur zu empfehlen !!

Our house master Yousra was an angel, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even before we ask for it! Do not worry about leaving important items behind because whatever it is she will get it for you in no time.

Das Vakkaru Maldives ist ein üppiger tropischer Lebensraum im kristallklaren Wasser des UNESCO Biosphärenreservats Baa Atoll. Vakkaru Resort exceeded our expectations. We liked absolutely everything. The island is big enough to never get bored of it. There are beautiful beaches and a flourishing vegetation that makes very pleasant biking around in the internal part. The service exceeded our expectations. Our Buttler, Joy, was absolutely perfect: precise, gentle, always one step further, she assisted us perfectly and resolved any situation. Everyone was extremely competent and so nice with us. The whole island is so clean. We were afraid that our plunge pool villa would have been too small, but it was actually perfect, much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Great attention is given to sustainability in the choice of materials. The private beach in front of it was pure heaven. Snorkelling in front of the villa and in the blue holes was amazing. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Food in general was fantastic, and we are difficult customers as we really love high quality dining and we are very spoiled by Michelin starred restaurants around the world. We particularly loved Lagoon Bar, with its amazing sea food and astonishing views of the ocean. We also loved Isoletta, despite the fact we are Italian and we normally never eat Italian food abroad. But at Isoletta, chef Andrea does a wonderful job: you can find superlative Italian cuisine here, with its classic recipes, sometimes with an original "twist". Not only is Andrea an excellent chef, but he is extremely kind and welcoming. I really appreciated he found the time to teach me some tricks for his "risotto al limone", one of the best risotto I ever had in my life. If you would ever get bored of the beach, snorkelling, and sea, you can relax at the amazing SPA. Or play some board games, there are so many! Or play padel, or tennis, or several water sports. We are already considering to coming back asap.
