Situated between the city of Braga and the Gerês Mountain Range, this luxurious hotel is a former Cistercian Monastery of the XII century. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a tennis court. Die Lage ist fantastisch, das Ambiente umwerfend, Abendessen und Frühstück im Kloster kaum zu überbieten, mir tut nur Leid, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren. Würde gerne wieder dorthin reisen und ein paar Tage ganz in Ruhe die Klosteratmosphäre genießen.

We liked the big open living area, great for a large group of people together. The swimming pool worked well and was extremely well looked after. The views were stunning and it was all very well equipped. The host was very helpful when we were looking for specific things.

The house was incredibly well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was absolutely stunning – one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. Our host was amazing – super responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Communication was easy and smooth from the very beginning. I only wish we could have stayed longer… it’s the kind of place you dream of coming back to for a proper break. Peaceful, beautiful, and truly memorable.
