All cottages at Daftö have a living room with a seating area and cable TV. Each has a furnished terrace and a fully equipped kitchen. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Home is located in a beautiful forest, within 5 minutes walk to marvelous lake with small beach and beautiful deck for swimming. Although the owner was not there, we enjoyed company of his neighbour Maria, who gave us some great advice on where to travel. In few kilometers you have a beautiful nature reserve Vänga Mosse with an outstanding bakery in an old mill. If you're there by car, visiting Smögen and Marstrands is a must.
