Everything was perfect, from planning the birthday surprise in advance to our departure. And above all, everything was amazing during our stay. The entire staff is world class. The room was perfect. On the day of departure, we were even able to leave our suitcases at the reception without any problems and were able to use the hotel area/pool area until our departure in the afternoon and continue to enjoy the great service. I have returned after 2 years to Kupaga Villas and must say that it is still the perfect beachfront luxurious boutique hotel. Now even more beautiful with renovated bar/restaurant area. Perfectly located in the Jamiani Village with small shops around the corner, close to the spectacular dunes and ocean landscapes. With lovely huge rooms, balconies with sea views, amazing pool, delicious food and drink options for reasonable prices. Perfect spot to unwind and have a happy time. The biggest asset of the hotel is the great service and super friendly staff. A big thank you to all the crew members for all your friendliness and profesionalism! You made my stay just perfect. Evrything...The staff, the view, the garden, the pool...evrything The staff was very friendly and attentive (especially the lady who served the breakfest evry morning, she knew the coffee order day by day) thanks a lot. Management was also friendly so I realy appreciate it. So it was a perfect holiday!

I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is extremely well-kept, clean and pleasant . The rooms are cleaned twice a day. The breakfast buffet was really excellent. The choice of food is huge and the food is tasty and fresh. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe. A huge advantage of this place is the cultured and nice but non-intrusive staff. It didn't personally bother me, but the beach (like most beaches in Zanzibar) with a lot of seaweed and at low tide it is not possible to swim in the ocean. On my next visit to Zanzibar I would definitely choose this hotel again.

The Zanbluu is pure paradise. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The hotel feels so private, and we always felt like the only people there. The food is delicious, we tried so many dishes and all were wonderful, local and traditional. 10/10. The Zanbluu blew us away, completely exceeded pur expectations, and we would return in a heartbeat.
