The location was perfect, and such a pretty garden at the entrance! We explored Picton by foot, and did a bit of shopping as well. We were able to get into our room a little early as a bonus due to when our flight arrived. The information from reception about preparations for the Queen Charlotte Walk were appreciated, as we didn't know quite what to expect.

Had a lovely stay very last minute. The lady at the check in desk was very kind and helpful. The bathroom is very big with a brilliant jet bath. WiFi worked really well. So close to the town centre which was very handy.

I loved everything about our stay at the Gateway Motel! Our room was spacious and spotless, with a great shower. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had the best nights sleep! The location is also perfect. The owners were very welcoming and we had some really interesting conversations and learnt quite a bit about NZ. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

We have a two bedroom unit which was designed for four. The kitchen is very well equipped good for any chef. The large toaster can make four toasts at a time and cookwares are more than adequate. The suite is very spacious and the environment is like in a nature sanctuary. Everything you need is five minutes away. We had a very good sleep as it’s quiet all around. We love it and highly recommend.
