Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. The motel was located in a quiet spot but close to town centre. Our rooms were immaculate, modern and beautiful set up. Acacia Lake View Motel is just 300-metres from Taupo Town Centre and a 5 minute Tauhara Golf Course. Taupo Airport is a 10-minute drive away. The apartment was on the second floor and we had a fantastic view of the lake. The furnishings were in very good condition and the kitchen was equipped with the essentials. Everything was very clean, the beds were excellent and it was quiet at night. The only time it was a bit noisy (this happened rarely and then not for long) was when the Briscooes company next to the motel was loading or unloading material. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They brought us a large cooking pot that was missing. We were also able to do our laundry at no extra cost.

Lake Taupo and Tokaanu Thermal Pools are within 5 minutes’ drive from Creel Lodge. The Tongariro National Park’s ski fields and walking trails are 40 minutes’ drive away. The accomodations, gardens, location and staff were all wonderful.

All apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, ceramic hot plate and under floor central heating. Facilities include a thermal-heated swimming pool, poolside bar, shared barbecue facilities and laundry. The pool was amazing and the location was perfect.

Guests enjoy a children's playground and a games room. The owner was lovely and gave some good recommendations. Shower was amazing and the room had everything we needed for 1 night.

eMotel is located just 10 minutes’ drive from the majestic Huka Falls and the Wairakei International Golf Course. Waikato River is a 20-minute drive away. It was very modern and roomy with every amenity we needed. The location was great.

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. Guests can relax on the deck around the outdoor heated swimming pool. Very nice and functional unit, great view of Lake Taupo. The owner was very pleasant and we appreciate how we was able to accommodate a last minute request with our dates due to closure of the Tongariro Alpine crossing for a few days.
