Saxton Lodge is centrally located between Richmond and Stoke, New Zealand, directly opposite Saxton Field. It is only 3-minutes’ drive to Stoke or Richmond, 15-minutes’ drive to Nelson city centre and 30-minutes’ drive to Motueka. Lovely Motel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large clean and comfortable and after a long day of driving the room service was a welcome bonus. The available laundry room just topped off a great experience.

Great tv, cooking equipment and heated bed as well. 100% worthy of being one of the top rated motels in NZ.

Situated 750 metres from Trafalgar Square, Chelsea Park Motor Lodge places you close to Nelson’s dining and shopping precincts. Nelson Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away, making arrival and departure easy. Was met with a very friendly owner when we arrived. Great that he has the facilities for - and offers - complimentary charging your car. My rental did not have the type 2 charging cable on board, so he provided us with one. The room was large, clean and comfy, beds also very nice. The motel is easy to be reached. Recommended, for sure.

Good location..walkable to everything in the center. Nicely managed by the owners on site. Highly recommend.
