We needed a room on the ground floor at short notice as I am currently on crutches, they were so helpful and nice and we got a lovely disabled friendly studio. Everything was new, very clean, large and cosy. I can't thank everyone enough. There is also a good restaurant in the building, which we really enjoyed.

Freshly upgraded and modern, very spacious and clean. Right on the main thoroughfare so easy to find. Nice beds, furniture and very nice walk-in shower. Even had a jacuzzi tub but never had a chance to use it.

In a cute little neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, cafés, a supermarket and more all within walking distance. We had a car, so getting around was easy; most places in the city like the CBD, Parnell, Takapuna Beach and Albany were about 10–40 minutes away (even with traffic jam). The place had heaps of amenities too: dishwasher, oven, induction stove, microwave, washing machine, dryer, etc. Really felt like a little home away from home. The bathroom floor and towel rack were heated, which was a nice touch, and the water pressure was pretty great. Everything was super clean! The A/C worked well, and the view was great! The air was so fresh and clean.

Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. The motel was located in a quiet spot but close to town centre. Our rooms were immaculate, modern and beautiful set up. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed including plunger and coffee. Thanks for having us and we will be back shortly.

Acacia Lake View Motel is just 300-metres from Taupo Town Centre and a 5 minute Tauhara Golf Course. Taupo Airport is a 10-minute drive away. Incredible motel right at the town center of Taupo. The studio room was squeaky clean, bed was comfortable and the small kitchen was plenty for what we needed. The owners could not have been nicer! Seriously some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Very helpful, informative and most of all kind. Each room has a parking spot.

Hacienda Motor Lodge offers accommodation options from Studios to Three-Bedroom Apartments. All include a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Some apartments feature a full size kitchen with family-size fridges and ovens. Some studios have kitchenettes with hotplates only. The owners could not do enough including bringing our washing into the room, also the little touches such as chocolate on the bed and hand cream by the bed. Location is brilliant
