Located in a quiet, rural setting your motel room is a couple of minutes walk through the sand dunes to the majestic Haast Beach, a wonderful place to watch the sun setting over the Tasman Ocean. Excellent studio apartment that was very comfortable, clean and tidy with basic cooking facilities that was all that we needed. Location could not have been better with great Mountain views on one side and the Tasman Sea and a massive beach on the other. Also not far from good restaurants and Haast township. Reception greeting was warm, friendly and informative. Simply cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Superb. Highly recommended.

Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Location was perfect, and the view from the room was beautiful! Very comfortable room, got a great rest!

Just 300 metres from Arthur’s Pass train Station, it offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Very special place. Green all around Beutiful room, very very clean, great shower. We loved taking a walk around the place. Very good bed. So lovely I wish we didn't have to leave.
