My best experience in Japan all the way from booking, to pick up through to day to day help, Burlap is THE preferred place to stay. Staff is awesome - Misawa-san, Clara and the young gentleman (didn't ask his name) are outstanding.

Surrounded by lush forests and lavender fields, Highland Furano boasts natural hot spring baths. Barbecue facilities can be used from April to October. JR Furano Station is a 15-minute drive away.

This may have been the best hotel I've stayed in. Only 27 rooms and not a bad one as they all face the same direction. From check in with Sunny to check out the whole experience was classy and relaxing. I messaged ahead saying I was vegan and for the two days I was there, I got a specially made vegan breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable and with a balcony to sit outside and enjoy nature. I used the spa two times every day and it was lovely. The location is amazing set back away from Furano. When the price I paid is considered, it was just incredible.

Room size is very spacious even for 3 people. Had hot water pot which the staff filled up and boiled already to dispense hot water upon arrival. Room is very clean and the location is next to a mart which makes it very convenient.

Gourmet breakfast. Absolutely everything. Asian, european, japanese. Supurb. Will definitely stay again. The location is breath taking, with skiing from the door. Even if the weather is bad, there's loads of trees to be had.
