Very lucky find: this lovely villa is located in nature, overlooking Lake Ashi, a 10 minute walk down to Moto Hakone promenade with restaurants, shops etc. The home itself is luxurious, with an awesome sauna & hot tub and a large living area with terrace, boasting views of Fuji. We reached it very easily & the host was super helpful to recommend transport, taxi etc. We had a very relaxing time, particularly starting the day with coffee & a view! Everything was spotless and designed to ensure a very comfortable stay. Nearby attractions include the floating Torii, a rope way & lake cruises.

The room was spacious and nice, very comfortable and we could see mount fuji from the balcony. The Onsen was good. The breakfast at the french restaurant is the best. The gardens are super nice by the lake.

Excellent hotel building in excellent location with view also at Mount Fujii and wonderful park with rododendron and azaleas.The food is excellent and every dish is prepared with amazing design.We took fotos of all the appetizers,main dish and desserts,they looked amazing.

The stay was simply perfect. The house was spotless and much more spacious than the pictures suggest. You can feel the love in every detail of the interior,it doesn’t feel like a "hotel" at all, but like a real home, fully equipped for a comfortable stay over several days. The location is also brilliant. I already had high expectations based on the photos, but they were clearly exceeded. No doubt: if I ever come back to Japan, I’ll rent this house again,for that price, absolutely.

Real old Japanese house that you can’t find anywhere else easily!! With the real countryside Bbq time was great!! People are very nice and friendly Next to the cafe which is not open when you check out We have a nice there!
