It is right on the main strip so easily accessible to the lifts, rentals, restaurants, bars and the only convenience store (Yamazaki) is just opposite the hotel. But what really sets the place apart is the hospitality of the host and owner who takes a personal touch to ensuring your stay is comfortable and everything goes smoothly. Amazing location, staff members welcoming all the time, and the views are from another time. Onsen open almost 24h so i get to see the sunrise while i was inside the onsen, just beautiful. I took Japanese breakfast, even tho i'm not used to that and it was also really good.

    This property is great value for the money. Love being able to ski in/out and there were plenty of restaurants and relaxation areas. The onsen is amazing with indoor/outdoor areas. Being able to sit in the outdoor onsen and watch the snow fall was magical.

    Rooms were in big and really comfortable.Fantastic view right up the groomers. Family of 4 with two large teenage boys and we all slept really well in a 2xtwin + 2xsofa bed single room. We could have stayed a lot longer. So easy getting onto great snow each day. Lift tickets are really cheap when booked in the accommodation. The onsen is amazing. As international guests we really loved feeling like we were in a more Japanese resort with few foreign tourists. And the Tangram/Madarao area has so much good snow to explore.

    Comfortable rooms for ski holidays. Access to the ski slope directly from the hotel. There is a swimming pool and an onsen in the hotel, right in one place. Everything is equipped and thought out for skiers and snowboarders, equipment rental, shops and lockers for ski equipment.
