Winter is the off season and we got a fantastic last minute deal here in mid January. Comfortable rooms with enough space for a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The traditional meals were a feast for the senses, though a little challenge for the teens. A minimum western menu at least for breakfast would have been a welcome addition. But all in all, a glorious unexpected stay!

Really loved location - situated on a beautiful valley. An amazing wooden building with outside onsen.Super nice and helpful staff. Incredibly delicious food. Totally worth staying for few days to get some rest. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! I was very impressed by the room and the meal. Everything is nice there especially the staffs who are really friendly and always willing for helping. They will pay attention to your every living habit and always give you the best service. The view is also excellent, feeling so good surrounded by the nature. I even met a wild monkey during my morning bath.

The hotel is small and boutique. The owner and all staff are very nice. As many reviews, all foods are amazing. Do not miss to making reservation for a delicious dinner and order some sake. Breakfast is so good. All ingrediants are local. The pumpkin is very very sweet🥰. Sharing toilet, Onsen and bathing room is not a problem for me.

Gorgeous location, wonderful staff and great amenities. Have stayed twice now and staff were wonderful both times. Handy parking just over the road, really nice baths and private onsen. Pillow was so comfy I set out to find one like it to buy to take home.

Both the dinner and the breakfast buffet were excellent, with a large variety of dishes being served, and always getting refilled. Smiling staff clearing away empty plates, and letting everyone know when the kitchen will be closing so that you don't miss anything. Multiple onsens on site, with both indoor and outdoor baths available. Everything was very clean. Staff went above and beyond when the wife forgot her phone charger in the room. Mailing it on to our next hotel in Osaka for us, we can't thank you enough.

Hotel & facilities were superb from the breakfast & dinner buffets through to the indoor / outdoor rooftop spa. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Free drinks, including alcohol, soft drinks, coffee, ice creams & snacks was also a very nice touch.
