Great CP value. Very quiet area, confy. Not so old and rundown than some ppl said, was expecting worst bcz of the reviews, but it exceed my expectations, it was kind of casual quality. Great hot/cold bath room. Great staff. I've liked the style of the room and hotel in general.

My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. My stay at Sla Ulay was simply fantastic. The hotel building and grounds are beautiful, with such a lovely view of the hills and lush vegetation. The outdoor and indoor hot spring bath were both amazing. My room and bathroom were both huge and spotless, and the bed was a dream. Breakfast and the welcome drink were delicious. The Sla Ukay staff and owners were extremely helpful and kind, and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would 100% recommend.
