Breakfast was incredible - they offered a delicious fully vegan set option which is more than I have seen at any hotel in Japan. The onsen was also very spacious and relaxing. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

You must have dinner and breakfast as a part of your reservation. The onsens were really wonderful! There were private and public ones on-site and another large public onsen across the street. The mountain location is about 25 min drive away from the train station, but they run a shuttle service from the Fujigaoka Train Station at 4:50pm every day. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Ghibli Park was a 15 minute shuttle ride.

I did not expect to find a gem like this and I actually ended up staying a few extra days than I had planned. The free food, free bar, free hot drinks, free miso soup, free massage chairs... that's just the start! The place is full of good stuff. Like the sauna which is lways 100 degrees (yes!) and the excellent onsen. There's brilliant haircare products and skincare products as well as hairdryers and comfortable places to sit and do makeup etc. Loads of free space to relax. A smoking area... it just goes on! The staff were especially helpful. One staff member speaks brilliant English and was icredibly helpful when I needed to extend my stay (twice!!) The sleeping areas are the quietest i've ever been to. I guess they designed them to be really quiet, with sliding doors, carpets etc. I could basically live here.

The hotel is ideally located in the downtown Nagoya, surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. Fantastic place, wonderful staff. Great, surprisingly large rooms and bathrooms- great set up. Sauna was amazing, incredibly kind staff gave my partner what he needed to cover his tattoos. Incredibly generous, we are so grateful for our stay. I wanted to visit the Ghibli Park so this place was a perfect in-between. It's at the end of the Higashiyama Line from Nagoya Station. To get to Ghibli you take the Limino line from Fujigaoka Stn and it takes just over 40 minutes of total travel (walking plus train). The room is really spacious and I liked the big desk with footrest in front of the TV. The bathroom had a bathtub and although small it has everything you need. There's a Lawson's kombini just outside the hotel that's 24-hour so if you feel hungry late at night it's very quick to go and buy some food. Everything was clean and tidy as well. Outside the lift/ elevator at each floor there's a microwave oven that anyone can use to heat up your food.
