Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. Definitely recommended! Exceeded our expectations. We had an wonderful time staying in a Japanese room, including traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. Personnel was kind and helpful, we felt welcome at all times. I would also recommend booking the private onsen before dinner, unique experience at a very reasonable price.
