Perfectly placed within a few minutes walking distance to Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, making it an easy commute from Osaka ! Every interaction with the hotel staff and facilities were seamless (the free coffee/matcha latte/soda/ice-cream was a very, very welcome surprise, especially after a long day exploring Kyoto!) The public baths were fantastic, clean and hygienic - the views/setting changes between the men and women everyday so that both baths can be experienced. They even helped us with our luggage and sending it across to Tokyo with minimum fuss, at our convenience. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. I had the most wonderful experience staying in this hotel. It really made Kyoto the best city I visited in my trip to Japan. I had my doubts seeing it very popular on tiktok, but I was indeed impressed. It was my first experience going to onsen. I was so nervous with the naked part, but once there I totally relaxed. Don't skip it! You have 5 hot spring pools, with clear water and free ice cream once you leave. Read the instructions, take a shower, put on the pijamas they provide, take your basket and towels, and go enjoy the onsen. The hotel is in japandi style, with tatami floors everywhere, so you take off your shoes at the entrance and you use only your bare feet or socks in all the areas. Was so strange to go at breakfast in pijamas and socks :)), but I loved it. The room was big, clean, with space to put your things. I slept so well on the bed. They serve coffee, tea and matcha latte all day long, and that matcha was so tasty and creamy I miss it every day (it's been 3 months). And the breakfast had a lot of variety but was crowded. You can leave your luggage with them if you arrive early, as early check in is not possible.

The hotel to us was exceptional we stayed there because it is near Universal Studios Japan. The room was so clean, comfortable, modern, had everything we need, even a shoe dryer. The view to Aji River is beautiful. And the price was relatively reasonable. If there are plans for another trip to Japan, I will definitely choose it as our stay.

They offer free noodles for dinner. They brought our luggage right into our room which amazed us. There's free massage chair and onsen included. Also the whole hotel looks like old japan, however the room are modern western style - yabai!

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Includes free access to onsen of high quality. Staff very friendly and supportive. Would love to stay there again.

Incredible typical Japanese hotel - ryokan where you sleep on the floor. With natural onsens (springs) and magnificant view from the room on the mountains. With perfect loication quite near the bus station and free shuttle. The hotel satff is very polite and do their best to make your rest unforgetable. In addition they offer traditional Japanese breakfast and Japanese Kaiseki dinner. In this hotel one can really have rest in typical Japanese style in scilence and relaxing atmosphere. Onsens were simply the best. We've got unforgetable experience.

The 20 rooms at Arima Onsen Tosen Goshobo include tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens. Guests can relax at the seating area and enjoy the zen atmosphere with a cup of green tea. Bathing facilities are shared. The service was perfect, dinner 100% recommend, a must have. Awesome experience!
