Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The famous Nanzoin Temple is a 30-minute train ride away. We had Japanese-style breakfast and it was perfect. The room was so comfortable and clean. The best thing for us was the public bath. Very relaxing.

The hotel is new, the onsens are pleasant, and everything was clean. Everything was provided — from robes to toiletries. It’s close to the station, and there are many good restaurants nearby.

Felt like home.

Very nice room, good Service with tips what to do in beppu. The pictures don't do the room justice. The stay itself was just lovely. I recommened to stay for the beppu onsen matsuri.

Free beer in the lobby and onsen eggs outside the entrance. The footbath on the roof is always awesome. The onsens are great (including the in-room onsen). The room itself is excellent. The staff is exceptional. It was our second time visiting this ryokan and as we were leaving, one of the staff members said she recognized us from last year because we were in the lobby drinking beer again, so that gave us a good laugh!
