Highly recommend booking dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous views. Lots of snacks in the hotel lobby, relaxing places to wait for checkin and out. Walk to everything - food, ferry, temple and gates. Wonderful ambience. Don't just catch the ferry for the day - stay on the island It's unforgettable.

We had an incredible stay! This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!

Situé le long du rivage d’Hiroshima, en face de l’île de Miyajima, connue pour son site classé au patrimoine mondial, le sanctuaire shinto Itsukushima, l’Aki Grand Hotel propose des chambres de style... Amazing dinners included, multiple course Japanese meal. Breakfast is also in included and delicious. Staff is as good as it gets and the shuttle is a real bonus- note that it does come to the train station and May align with your arrival. We walked from the train, it took about 20 minutes. We had a perfect view of the Torii gate from our room- spectacular.

Highly recommend a stay here for access to Miyajima Island and Hiroshima. A particular highlight was this property's onsen baths - not just a lovely experience, but also wonderfully well-supported by staff, with amenities galore (even a shampoo bar!). Beautiful views, doable access thanks to the shuttle to the train station, and spacious rooms. Only wish I could have stayed longer!

We would specifically like to thanks a staff member named - Hiyase. She went out of her way to organise vegetarian food for us and spent more then 2 hours to help us. She politely refused to take any tip and mentioned, it was her job. We are blown away by her caring attitude and honesty. We wish her good luck.
