Private parking is available on site. Location is strategic, just 3 blocks down to the bay area. Loved walking around especially during sunset. There's nothing much to do around Aomori itself but I loved my 3 night staycation at the Dormy Inn. The spa facilities are well maintained and top notch. The reviews from other folks are true around food and freebies. Yes it's further away from the Aomori station but if you are coming from the airport, just take an airport limousine bus and get dropped off at Kencho-dori bus stop, right by the hotel! Going back is just right across the other side! Super convenient!

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.

The private onsen can be booked for 50 minutes. It was great for a couple to share.
