Le J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse est situé à Hongu, à 10 minutes en voiture ou à 70 minutes à pied du chemin de pèlerinage Kumano Kodo depuis le grand sanctuaire de Kumano Hongu Taisha. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

L’établissement Minshuku Sumiya bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal dans le quartier Kawayu Onsen de Tanabe, à respectivement 12 km, 20 km et 23 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Hosshinmon Oji Shrine,... The host is very nice and attentive. EVerything is clean and we had all we needed. The dinner was delicious as well as the bento box for our trek, probably the best bento box we had in Japan!

L'Hotel Kirinosato Takahara dispose de bains thermaux intérieurs et extérieurs, à seulement 2 minutes à pied des routes de pèlerinage de Kumano Kodo, classées au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. I love the design of the room which is very cozy and modern. The location is right at the center of Takahara and looking out the window, we can appreciate the whole Mountain View. I also love the foods. The host is very kind and accommodating that they agree to help us ship a package which is outside the service they listed to provide.

L’établissement Ashita no Mori est idéalement placé dans le quartier Kawayu Onsen de Hongu, à respectivement 20 km, 23 km et 33 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art,... Lovely place with an amazing staff specially the little girl who was so helpful :)

Situé à 10 minutes à pied de la source chaude Tsuboyu, un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, le Yunominesou propose des bains thermaux extérieurs paisibles avec vue sur la nature, un... Great ryukan , Best feeling to take a full rest here after days on a trail, Onsen water in this area is one of the best I have experienced in japan. Full course Dinner and Breakfast is just wonderful , Staff and service is amazing !!!

Vous pourrez profiter de bains thermaux et de massages au Nakanoshima, situé à 5 minutes en ferry de la jetée de Kanko Sanbashi. We had a group of 5 people and stayed in the Deluxe family room. Everything was clean and prepared for our arrival and the staff showed us around all of the facilities and explained everything to us in English as we did not speak much Japanese, Not all of the staff spoke English, however anytime we had a query that required it they would always help us to speak with someone who did which was extremely helpful. The room itself was extremely spacious and came with 2 large beds and 3 tatami beds that were setup for us when we went for dinner. The room had all of the amenities that you could need and also gave each person a yukata and sandals that could be worn around the entire site. The balcony overlooks the bay and other areas on the island and is very beautiful, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The food for both dinner and breakfast was exceptional. The staff were extremely attentive and explained each of the courses to us in English and were always on hand for even the smallest request. There is a fantastic walk on the top of the island that is accessible via the main lift and is a brilliant spot for photographs or just to relax in the quiet although the staff explained that it is closed when it is dark so make sure not to miss out on it if you are interested. The site has both indoor and outdoor Onsen's which are rotated between Men and Women each day. These were extremely well kept and have all of the necessities for showering beforehand etc. These were absolutely the highlight of the accommodation and I would thoroughly recommend that everyone uses them at least once during their stay. The boats to and from the mainland can be arranged with staff up to every 15 minutes and they can also arrange a free taxi shuttle service from the dock to the train station nearby I would also just like to mention about how exceptional all of the staff were. We felt welcome from the moment we set foot on the boat to the moment we stepped back off it.

L’hébergement 一棟貸し民宿 川湯の家 se situe à Tanabe, à seulement 12 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Hosshinmon Oji Shrine. The staff were lovely and very helpful before and during our stay. The house is spacious and scrupulously clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the bath is worth the wait to fill with hot spring water. We enjoyed the free snacks and instant noodles for a no fuss dinner. The Kawayu Onsen bus stop is a few meters away, making transport easy. Soaking in the river hot springs is a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

L’établissement Natural Hot Spring Inn Choseian - 長生庵 - se situe à Shirahama, à respectivement 1,5 km et 2 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage de Shirahama et Shirahama Art Museum. Beautiful garden and relaxing Onsen. Dinners were all quite good!! Staff are all very helpful!

Spacious, comfortable and the onsen was large and relaxing after big day hikes! The hosts have provided everything you could need and their kindness and communication was exceptional!
