We had a truly excellent stay at Hotel Porta e Alpeve. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the facilities were modern and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were just as good — a real highlight of our stay. The hotel also has a lovely playing area for children, which was a great addition for families. Above all, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience feel very special. It was the perfect mix of comfort, great food, family-friendly facilities, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The host, I believe called Niko, was very friendly and hospitable from the start and throughout our stay. He helped us find the hotel when our maps weren’t working and helped with bags and recommendations. We were provided with a welcome gift as it was our anniversary and this was a lovely touch, thank you so much! Everything was spotlessly clean and super comfortable, I believe freshly renovated. Rooms were modern but the building itself maintained traditional charm and it mixes the two together. Location 10/10. Set back off the Main Street overlooking the garden, it was serene. We had dinner in the garden restaurant one night too and the live music makes a great atmosphere. Breakfast was good too. Well worth the price paid and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely spacious super clean room with lovely owners who were easily contactable our entire stay. We are backpackers and just stayed here the night after our hike for some comfort. Would 100% recommend staying here. It is a very new accommodation so doesn’t have many reviews yet, please don’t let this put you off booking your stay here. It was like home away from home. I stayed at Bliss Inn Hostel in Shkodër for 3 nights and had a truly memorable experience. Dioniz and Kristian, the hosts, were incredibly kind and welcoming—I had the chance to get to know them personally, and we even went out to eat and relax together. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. The hostel is tucked just a few roads off the city center, offering the perfect blend of central location and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a beautiful, well-kept space with a warm, friendly vibe—and to top it off, they have a gorgeous ginger cat who adds even more charm to the place. I highly recommend Bliss Inn Hostel to anyone visiting Shkodër. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you’ll feel genuinely welcomed. I look forward to seeing you guys again soon.
