We had an excellent stay at Port Douglas Motel. The location is perfect — just a short walk to both Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street, with shops, cafes, and restaurants all nearby. The room was bright, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of free parking available too. A fantastic, easygoing place to stay if you’re visiting Port Douglas!

This place in truly amazing! We loved staying here for 2 nights and regretted that we could not stay longer. Although the whole area is off the grid (relying on solar power) it has everything we needed, even a washing machine (cold only) what we didn't expect. Be aware however that due to the humid conditions, it takes very long to dry the clothes (no tumbler available of course). The lack of A/C was no problem at all as the whole building has ventilation blinds that can be opened and there are remote controlled fans everywhere so you can have a nice breeze during the night. Be sure to bring everything you need to the Daintree forest as there are not many shopping opportunities. The kitchen is large and together with the BBQ grill we could cook a delicious meal. The owner took much time to show us around and explained us everything. She was super friendly!

Stunning location right in the middle if the rain forest, fantastic night tour of the jungle, great food, friendly staff and we were treated to a jam session too! Great location for everyone and especially for solo travelers and nature lovers . Even saw a Cassowary and his baby!

The location is second to none - right next to the beach and Main Street with restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. My room was lovely - clean, modern, spacious with gorgeous interiors and really comfortable bed. Sonya and Robin were always on hand to help me out and answer questions, they were great hosts! Quiet property near the beach. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious, and with a good-sized outdoor area. Good quality linen and plenty of pillows on the king size bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there is a BBQ to use in the common area. We had a warm welcome from the managers who also gave us extra information when we needed it.
