Breakfast was served exceptionally fresh every morning and prepared with a lot of care in order to satisfy the guests staying there, plenty of choice and the tables were set up professionally everytime to start the day feeling well looked after! The owner was extremely kind and generous and it made our stay even more comfortable as it had a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere everytime she was around. She went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful and appreciative of her hard efforts aswell as the friendly hard working staff who also help to maintain and make Edelweiss the special and unique inn it is for everybody staying or visiting there! We want to thank you all for everything and we will definitely be staying again in the future aswell recommending friends/family 😊!

The beautiful house was easy to find and in a lovely quiet location. The yards had amazing gardens and lots of outdoor space and seating. We enjoyed a lovely mini-apartment within the immaculate and impressive house. From the bedding to our own TV/reading room and spotless bathroom, the services were outstanding. Our host was so helpful and such a pleasant and welcoming person. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had our own house that is very cozy and comfortable. Wonderful view over the sea. It is very silent and Middleton is just a 15 min drive away where you find shops and restaurants. Absolutely recommended.

The Host was very welcoming, attentive, happy to answer our questions, esp. that we only arrived to Canada on the day. The Host was very well-prepared and had details of restaurants nearby (it was Sunday night when we reached the destination), knew about local farms (we wanted to buy some seasonal fruit) and gave us excellent recommendations when it came to local attractions, e.g. Annapolis Royal (we highly recommend it - it was about 15 mins to drive there from the property), Digby, Lunenburg, to name but a few. There are a number of brochures, even local newspapers (an amazing read by the way - I read the entire edition!) to help you immerse in the beauty of Nova Scotia. The property is beautiful and peaceful, very spacious, there is plenty of space for walking, playing tennis or football; one can hear all nature sounds there. The house is full of interesting books and art, which made it an even more enjoyable night and morning. There are kitchen facilities that can be used to made coffee or tea. Our room had a number of amenities, it was well-equipped and the bathroom also met our expectations.

Because we stayed a couple of nights the owner gave us enough towels for our stay upon our arrival, so she wouldn’t have to disturb us. Our room was very clean and warm during the cold nights. There was plenty of hot water and pressure for our showers. WIFI was strong during our stay. Parking in front of our room was nice also.
