Highly recommend for the guests from overseas. There are 5-6 student volunteers who speaks English well and assist each guest in detail. The manager Joye and the volunteer Kyrie specially gave me a lot of suggestions based on my preferences and arrange all the reservations for me. All the staff are really friendly and have great hospitality. I bet you will never regret staying here.

The hospitality provided by all the staff was amazing, particularly from the energetic Mr. Joye, who happily arranged all our transportation, responded to all my inquiries, and even prepared breakfast for our tour. Additionally, I greatly appreciated the location of our stay, which had a cozy atmosphere and was situated in a fantastic spot. Unlike other accommodations I had in the old town of Lijiang, it wasn't as crowded or noisy.

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.

Not really sure where to start. One of the nicest B&B style hotels I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Staff go above and beyond everyday and the ambience of the place is so relaxing it’s hard to stay standing. It’s just off the Main Street in the quieter of the “old towns” Shuhe, but it’s so quiet you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Beautiful surrounds and convenient to literally everywhere. Literally, just stay here: way more personal than any of the bigger hotels in the area I’m sure.

The location - our room was just a minute into ancient city and into ZhongYi market. The room - good and spacious and a sliding door to separate living area and bedroom. We are a family of two adults and two children under the age of 10. The homestay is located in a quiet area of the city, with spacious rooms and plenty of natural light. We were well taken care of by our host. There are Chinese and Western options for breakfast (eggs, sweet potatoes, corn, black tea, milk), which need to be requested one day in advance. We didn't want to order Chinese breakfast, but on the last morning, we ordered two sets of Chinese breakfast and two sets of Western breakfast, which was indeed a good choice and should have been done from the beginning. We had to extend our stay by one day, and the host showed us the sights, restaurants, and great cafes in the area. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Lijiang.
