Beautiful and peaceful place with a great host. So many places in the island are extremely noisy but here you can relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Also Darvin is a local and can tell you all about the interesting story of the islands and the culture. Great price for what you get.

Stunning views, private beach area, decent gym, all the activity options you can book with them. Right in the nature and the jungle so all sorts of animals and insects etc. if you like or don’t mind that. Bed is covered with mosquito net though so very comfy at night.

Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. The pool has a really good vibe and everyone seemed to enjoy it respectfully. At night, the sound was minimal and we were right by the pool. The beds were comfortable, the hammocks and chairs as well. The food was very good, albeit expensive.

Hotel Playa Scondida Barú is a rustic-style lodge on Baru Island, 1 hour from Cartagena by motorboat.

The hotel is nice, Caribbean style rooms, nice little pool,a small pier where you can sunbathe and a little piece of beach. The hotel is incredible peaceful as it only accommodate a small number of guests and therefore the attention of the staff is unbelievable. Lucrecia and Sergio especially are amazing and they will help with any requests you have with a kindness that you'll never see anywhere else. The hotel also offers transportation service with a private boat so you can reach nearby tourist attraction( just ask and they will take you anywhere). Very satisfied and will probably visit again.

Our stay at Hotel Calamari Baru was so relaxing! We had one of the ocean view rooms, and it was perfect to relax. We loved hearing the sound of the waves as we slept. Christian helped us with our bags when we arrived later in the evening. The food and service at the restaurant were great and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was also included in the stay. The reception staff helped us book our boat trip back to Cartagena which was helpful! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was one of the better looking accomodations on the strip.

The place is beautiful, far from the crowds. The rooms are great, the bathroom is beautiful, with the shower in the open air. The ladies who cook are amazing, and the food is great. We loved it!
