Our stay at Kashta Guest House on Elephantine Island, Aswan, was fantastic. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the start. This place is absolutely amazing. We were so happy to meet the Nubian people through Ahmed and his family. They are extremely kind, sweet, helpful, honest and we would love to come back just to get to know them more. They were always super attentive and careful. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the view of the Nile was fantastic and we loved the bungalow style accommodation. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. The food in the restaurant was brilliant and they always gave us huge portions! We loved staying in the Nubian village and exploring in the evenings and had a lovely day trip down the Nile to Aswan stopping at all the tourist spots for sight seeing.
