This was the best stay during my travels in Finland. Henry, who runs both the whole running of Säynätsalo Town Hall and the accommodation, is a very helpful and warm person who is happy to help with anything. Included in the accommodation is a guided tour of the Town Hall, and he can also arrange a boat trip to the Alvar Aalto's experimental house including a tour. The island is small but very pleasant and definitely worth staying on. The room was nicely and stylishly furnished, the kitchen had everything a traveler needs.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation and easy access to everywhere. The room was clean and well-equipped. Although breakfast was not provided, there is a supermarket nearby. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. For this price in Finland, the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!
