The home is extremely elegant and modern. There is attention to detail in all aspects, like fresh flowers, walk-in wardrobe sensor lights, kitchen gadgets. Ample space, all bedrooms have double beds. The sauna is a lovely surprise. The view of the ocean is an absolute delight. I would recommend this property and the Isle of Lewis as a place to reset in beautiful surroundings. The ferry trip from Ullappool to Stornoway was also an additional bonus to our holiday. The weather on the island is changeable, so please always have padded jackets and rain coats.

The location was magnificent. John and Jacky were best of hosts. Kind hardworking scottish farmers. Jacky an amazing cottage weaver.The bothy was A great place to get away from worldly materialism... they supplied all basics of camp stove cooking . Composting toilet and a lovely pete fire. Very cosy with a nice comfortble bed. I felt warm and safe and remote. Away from mainstream society. The b&b has one guest room and is run by Olive, the best host ever. She overwhelmed us with her kindness, generosity and care. The guest room is very quiet and absolute clean. We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

Everything about the place was amazing, the unique setting of the castle, the attention to detail was incredible and management were so responsive and welcoming. A fantastic location for exploring not only Stornoway but Lewis and Harris. The small fridge in the room was so handy for keeping snacks for day trips. The best nights sleep in the comfiest bed.

The guesthouse was in really nice quiet location very near a walking path through Lews Castle Grounds leading directly to town. I really enjoyed walking though the grounds to get to where I was going while I stayed. Breakfast was plentiful and really good quality too.

This was a lovely clean and convenient place to stay. It is right on the sea front a couple of hundred meters from the ferry to Ullapool. If you arrive in to Stornaway late of have an early ferry to Ullapool then this place is really convenient. The owner was lovely to talk to and a very helpful person. It was good value for money and I would stay again
