What a beautiful place to stay! Room was spacious and breakfast was amazing! Our hosts were so helpful and lovely to chat to. No problems at all. We used the shared lounge and it was lovely. Beautiful setting too.

- it was really away from any noise, lightening etc, a truly virgin location - the host was very helpful and provided us with charcoal for bbq and logs for a fire for just 5-10£ - the cabin itself was very well insulated and warm during our stay - we had everything we needed

Shepherd's hut is perfect for couples seeking solitude. Just enough room for your stuff inside the hut, on-site parking, well equipped kitchenette, nicely decorated, comfy beds, clean. There is a barbecue outside. Early in the morning you might be surprised by a deer family grazing in front of the hut. Views from the hut are amazing, especially in sunset. Highly recommend!

The ones running the place are very kind. Good information that the restaurant was closed. We especially enjoyed the great breakfast and to finally have a good wifi after many nights without it. Best stay during 2 weeks in Scotland!

Absolutely amazing inn! The confit duck is to die for, and the staff are top-notch. The atmosphere is really welcoming and cosy, and the room is charming. I also really liked that you pre-order your breakfast, and I generally felt really catered to. The location is to die for as well; a stone throw away from the local railway station.

Fabulous inn tucked away in tranquility. Wonderful food served, lunch dinner and breakfast. Extremely welcoming staff, and owner. A very cosy atmosphere. We were sent off with boxed croissants for our onward journey. Very kind.

Owners were very kind and dried out my waterproofs after a very wet day riding my bike, great to have dry gear in the morning. Very safe parking for motorbike. Was not aware of no food so make sure you pack some food! Lovely room

The hotel location provides a beautiful view of the Lock and Kilchurn Castle. There is limited free parking available. The tour and information given in the checkin process. All dining staff were amazing, hard working to keep everything running to the scheduled times. Be aware this hotel’s main clients are bus tour groups.

Quiet riverside location, recent renovation, very good breakfasts, friendly owners, on-site parking, immaculate property. Ducks and ducklings in the riverside garden.

LIked everything. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked, brilliant poached eggs every day! Beautiful house, decor, warmth, quiet and lovely river. Perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble. Car park on site.
