Again a perfect 10 for all the right reasons: 1 Communications with host Ann(ie) was clear and prompt to get us to the right place at the right time. 2 The Estate is clearly visible from the road, but not close to the road: nice and quiet. 3 Enough and good parking places on the premisses. 4 The estate does not look very big for the outside but surely is! It has been transformed from a former separate house for preparing for hunting, to a stylish modern villa, with a tea terrace in a huge tree behind the house. 5 Annie took great care in decorating each room and terrace - each room had its own - with great care for consistent style. She loves tigers and in pictures and statues the animals are omnipresent; not the real ones by the way. 6 The kitchen is enormous, yet cosy and beautiful, very clean and great for having breakfast. 7 The garden is well maintained. 8 The bathroom is private and immaculate with thick towels 9 Excellent bed, beautiful and comfortable linnens 10 Across the street - less than a minute away - is de the Burns-Wallace memorial: a pile of stones near the river, just a modest staircase away, easy accessible, with poetry on the pile. 'Worth the detour'! What stands out most is Annies hospitality. With a nice Scottish touch, she is full of stories, advice for day visits, and prepares and serves breakfast the way you wish. For the cereal lover, at least 10 varieties. We choose eggs and croissants with coffee (and tested several cereals). Nothing is a problem for her. She showed us around in her beautiful Estate of which she is really proud, for obvious reasons. This is what we wanted and got plenty of it.

Fabulous from the moment we arrived excellent free parking to the reception greeting. Super professional and shown to our room something many hotels lack these days except abroad. Our room was superb spacious and beautifully decorated with attention to detailing especially the bathroom design choices we'd have choosen for our building projects. We were made to feel super welcome and the staff very attentive. The public areas again beautifully furnished and recently completed in February we were told. Our buffet breakfast for starters a good selection of cereals, natural yogurt with berry compote, fruits, juices and bread. We are offered a cooked breakfast of our choice to create. Definitely look forward to staying here again to get to the Arran ferry a few minutes drive away. Dogs are super welcome in some rooms.

Great sized property offering good value for money. Whilst Prestwick itself doesn't have a huge amount in the immediate area (sorry Prestwick, I say that affectionately a former Ayrshire native), it is a handy base for exploring the various attractions of South Ayrshire. We stayed with kids and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient private parking. Communication with hosts was easy and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

    The place was easy to find and ideal for my itinerary. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was tasty and filling after a long day. Convenient parking nearby. the staff were accommodating as I arrived later than I had hoped to.

    Easy to find, parking easy, staff friendly and hospitable. Friendly people in bar. Nice shower, comfortable bed, generally looking clean. Dinner was very good, imaginative dish. Views at back over countryside.

    It had ample parking and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. There was an issue with noise in one side of the property but a lovely lady (called Sophie, I think) took pity on a very tired worker who’d dropped her room keys, on a run, while attempting to get a break from the noise disturbance). I was moved to the other side and slept so well I slept through my alarm 😝

    Really friendly welcome. Plenty of parking and Nicola very kindly made her EV charger available to us which added to the convenience. The room and bed were very clean and comfortable and we had and an enormous bathroom which helped as we had brought our dog to this very dog-friendly establishment. Breakfast was superb with an extensive menu which was adapted to suit our vegetarian requirements. Really fresh eggs and delicious homemade jam and cake. Thanks for a great stay.
