Tsiuri and her daughter were lovely and very hospitable. The guesthouse sits a very short walk outside the main village and in a gorgeous setting. There is a patio overlooking a very pretty garden where we were offered tea and water when we arrived. The water in the shower gets piping hot, and the shower and toilet were both very clean. The room was also very clean, and we had a nice thick blanket (even though it was July, it got quite chilly at night, but we were cozy inside! Dinner was also excellent. Lots of veggies, and everything was very flavorful! It was a nice contrast from some of the very heavy meals we have been eating here in Georgia. I had the opportunity to have a very thought-provoking conversation with Tsiuri. She's really an insightful and wonderful person. Thank you for everything!! We won't forget this stay!

We were immediately welcomed on our arrival by our host who showed us around. We made the mistake of of the beautiful garden and enjoyed a delicious meal in the evening with the other guests. I strongly recommend this guesthouse, the hosts are very kind and make you feel straight at home.

Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks in Georgia, Lali’s A-frame house in Zabeshi was by far our favorite. The location is absolutely stunning, with the best views we had on the trip. Lali is a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and she cooks the most delicious food. Maybe the best guesthouse in the small village of Zhabeshi. We were the only guests that night and were in the room with a private bathroom (no. 1). The family helped us with anything we asked for and made some delicious food for us. Big portions and a good lunch pack for a reasonable price.

We booked this guest house because of the supposedly excellent food and the hostess delivered! Dinner as well as breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The guest house is really nice and in the perfect place to view the waterfall/river of the glacier nearby and the whole family is very sweet. When one of us got sick, they were extremely helpful and even took us to the hospital themselves. No need for a taxi or a translator. 100/10, was well worth the extra kilometer of walk.

Risa was the best host during my Mestia-Ushguli hike. She is really kind and even tho communication was hard I felt home and wish I had more days to stay at her place. There is a lovely garden and the views over the mountains are amazing. I also had great food and the best khachapuri in Georgia. The beds are comfortable and there is a bedside lamp which makes the room really comfortable at night. She also prepared a lunchbox which was really helpful for the hike. I would come back to Georgia just to stay with Risa again! Also the value for the money was just amazing - especially compared to the other overpriced guest houses in other villages.
