Everything was exceptional! The hosts are amazingly kind and generous. Peso picked us up from the overnight bus and let us into our rooms at 7am, gave us breakfast and got us on his tour for the day. He’s a great guide and runs very smooth tours, he is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Toraja culture and history, his English is good. The room and house is of hotel standard, with homestay personal care and attention. The cleanest feet I’ve had in Indonesia! The best homestay of our travels! The food is delicious and abundant! Quiet location yet central enough, beautiful views. The hosts also dropped us at the bus station for our returning overnight bus, after our 3 day stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Really lovely, modern, tranquil hotel - good decoration, kind of a cool "Bali" vibe with concrete, wood and good design. Amazing views of quiet rice paddy fields. Communal area and restaurant is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful - and should you need help with planning amazing local guidance for tours/visits to funeral ceremonies and grave sites etc. with excellent knowledge, then ask for Rashid who can help you plan both guides and driver. We went out with Yohannes (guide) and Mingu (driver) and we had such a lovely few days with them; they went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more and were so knowledgeable in sharing information about the local traditions and culture. Highly educational and lovely!

Ibrah was an absolutely amazing host. He couldn’t do enough for us. The place was spotless, the breakfast was huge and room were perfect! It felt like a real family home in Toraja! Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Knowledgeable host. Yakob was an amazing host and guide and I had 4 eventful and beautiful days in toraja. We saw more than I expected I would be able to and each morning started with a delicious breakfast.

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

We liked the kindness of the owners, Daud is excellent host, very helpful - he is also a local guide. The whole place is very clean - I would say exceptionally clean with beautiful plants, trees and flowers in the garden. Plus you have coffee and breakfast every morning - banana pancakes are amazing! You can meet a lot of travellers, backpackers here and exchange information about your trips..

The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents! Such lovely people it felt like we were a part of their family; they took care of us so well and were so welcoming. Felt right at home. Thank you!!

I loved the location with amazing views from the balcony of the property. Paulus and his wife were both extremely helpful with any requests such as organising trips around Toraja and event drove me to the bus station on my return. Breakfast was delicious also! I found it a great opportunity also to meet other guests travelling around Sulawesi.
