Rumah Marianne is the perfect option, if you're just in town for a few days. It's clean, you can wash your laundry and use the shared kitchen. The host is an excellent communicator and incredibly helpful prior to and during our stay. We were given guidance and help with transfers and local tours. We took a bird tour to Malagufuk organised by our host at Baronda which was great. Our host helped me organise a meeting with a local conservation agency. Our visit coincided with that from the host’s family and we were invited to join for lunch which was very special and super tasty. The property is a bit out of town but it wasn’t a problem for us as we used Grab taxis and that worked well. Also the local buses are happy to pick you up so easy to get across town if needed.

It was a one night stay in this hotel, and was great. The location is good, next to the main road and 15 min. walk from the airport. A lot of streetfood near the hotel:) The equipment of the room is good (perfect shower, AC e.g.) the staff polite and kind. Everything was more than ok:)
