Fantastic accomodation in the country side..The house is modern, cozy, well equipment and super clean..It was seven of us and we all had our privacy there..The host Sinead was amazing and kind, we really felt like at home ...well worth it and amazing value for money..Would we stay there again? You bet !!!

Fantastic, cosy and fun! We had a one night stop over, and were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer. The pod has everything you need, and the solid fuel burner makes the place so warm and cosy even on a frosty night. Jeff was great, so friendly, welcoming and kind. Will definitely go back again.

What a great find. Castlepollard may not be on every tourist map yet, but it will be soon! There has recently been significant investment in this hotel and it shows; well appointed, spotless rooms, an excellent bar and restaurant, and a great team to make sure you feel right at home.

This place is the last word. Everything is thought through, just like being at home. The attention to detail and finish on the home is exquisite. There is a fully stocked larder so you only need to bring actual food, and Tayto and crusty bread on arrival for a tasty crisp sandwich! The little fresh flowers everywhere were an added finish. The location is very close to Loughcrew Cairn and close to the village of Fore which has a cafe and two pubs. Eoin is a brilliant host and always responsive to queries. The perfect country escape, and exactly what we wanted.

The accommodation was excellent and well presented by householder Kevin, who met us on arrival. It also has a secure yard for parking. Less than three minute walk into the town Square, where one will find a pet friendly cafe, known as Ciara's Candy and cafe. Kevin has a pub as well, where your pet is welcome and the staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. We had a Totally relaxed break and even our cockapoo, Mitzi relaxed for a change, as she does not travel to well. A good base for traveling from. Definitely be back. Location was perfect from Crover house hotel as we had a wedding there. Breakfast was fabulous and there was no rush getting up for a certain time which was really nice. The room was lovely and clean and bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were lovely, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel there to use. I had forgotten something in the room and the owner was in touch straight away and it was posted back to me.
