I really liked the place. It's situated in a cozy area called Sarnath a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Varanasi's city center. I really had a good time here, was able to do Yoga every day on the huge terrace and really fell in love with the place. The owners made me feel like at home here and they're really helpful and generous with the guests coming here. It's the perfect place if you want to escape the loud, crowded and demanding city center. Also, the food you can order directly at the hostel is sooo delicious for a very good price. All in all, a wonderful experience here.

This place is an Oasis in the noisy magic Varanasi. We relaxed and enjoyed nature, birds and silence. The staff was always happy to help with any question. It takes 30 minutes to get to the ghats by tuk tuk, 5 minutes walk to the ancient Buddhist stupa and museum. Thank you 🙏

Everything; Travelling and staying for about 14 years, But would rate this stay as my best experience in Varanasi. The host Amitji, extended my stay in troubled times (Indigo Flight cancellation Phase) for another day by charging me regular price.Felt like home back. Highly recommended. During our stay in Varanasi they have been of good help regarding all the activities in the city and see all the highlights. Furthermore, I ran into an issue with my luggage (it did not arrive at the airport). The staff, in-house taxi driver and owner assisted/helped me during this quite troublesome issue. Many thanks again, I would come back if I were ever to return to Varanasi!

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.

The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming.they truly make you feel like part of their family. At first, I was a bit worried because the hotel didn’t have many reviews, but that’s only because it’s still quite new. The place is very clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect — just a short walk from Assi Ghat. I especially loved spending time on the rooftop; it’s a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view.
