This was my favourite accomodation in India. The place was very clean, nice common area on the rooftop and cool owner. I loved the plants everywhere. Good vibes.

We stayed a couple of nights at this beautiful hotel. First of all, the place immediately felt very clean and welcoming. A wonderful fragrance fills the entire lobby. The ladies at the reception gave us a warm welcome. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant area is our favorite. The food is excellent and of the highest quality, and the dining staff is very helpful, polite, and attentive to every need. A special mention goes to the restaurant manager, Suresh, who was always attentive and patient, and to his assistant, Muthuraj, who was very kind and sweet. We highly recommend this enchanting place surrounded by nature.

I really enjoyed my stay in this nice homestay. It is quietly located, overlooking a coffee plantation from my balcony, but everything within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean, cozy and spacious and my host a very lovely and friendly woman. Right next door her nice sister runs a restaurant where you can eat very well. I just can recommend this wonderful place.

Coffee and Pepper is situated in a wonderful and peaceful spice garden. Our room was nice, big and bright with a balcony. It is close to Kumily and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. George was very kind and helpful assisting us with tickets to the Wildlife Sanctuary, and he did everything to give us a great stay. We recommend Coffee and Pepper highly.

The property is located in a very calm small street. You can walk from there to the city center and the way is calm and very beautiful. The house is green, very well maintained. The room was upstairs with a private staircase which ables you to go to restaurant at night and come back without making noise. We booked Family Room. One room with two single beds and one room with the bathroom and large double bed. Beds were very comfortable, fans were available. The bathroom is very convenient. It was clean and nicely set up, we slept like babies. The lady was so nice, the home made breakfast was delicious, dosa and coconut chutney, small bananas, egg 😍. Very friendly, smiling and gentle. I strongly recommend this place.

We stayed three nights at Hills and Hues in the room "The Cavern". The welcome was so warm, we immediately fell in love with this beautiful hotel. The location is unique, the view from the terrace is a dream. The complex is very well maintained and the room is spacious and tastefully decorated, the beds very comfortable. Both breakfast (included) and dinner, which we ordered á la carte, were extraordinarily delicious. The team organized a tour of the nearby Periyar Tiger Reserve for us and even when we needed a tuk tuk, they helped us immediately. I had a treatment in the spa, the forehead oil treatment with head massage. I thought it was great and was deeply relaxed (75 minutes for around €40). We would return to Hills and Hues at any time, the stay definitely enriched our vacation in Kerala.

We have stayed in beautiful homestays before, but this one was exceptional. The host family is very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a wonderful cooking session with them. They gave us great recommendations for what to do and where to find good food. With their own unique and beautiful style they created a little oasis in the middle of Kumily. We enjoyed our time there very much. Thank you!

Me and my father booked this hotel as we arrived one day ahead of schedule. We ended up staying for 4 nights and cancelled our original booking. What a lovely hotel in a natural environment. The owner and the rest of the staff are lovely people. They make you feel like family members. We saw monkeys, many types of birds and giant squirrels from our balcony. The artwork in the hotel is very nice and done by people from all over the world. Pool on the roof is a big plus as well. Oh and I almost forget to mention the tasty lemon soda's you can order during your stay!! Everything is great, great, great.
