We stayed here to attend a family wedding nearby. This hotel ticked all the boxes to accommodate a group of 6 adults and 2 children. The reception staff Archana, Arun Kumar and Abrir are some of the names I recollect, were very efficient and helpful with all our requirements regarding local transport and help with return flights. We were very chuffed when Mr. Shaji George, the CEO went as far as offering an upgrade when we had issues with the local taxis. This was much appreciated. The rooms were well laid out, fair sized clean. comfortable with more than adequate facilities and a brilliant walk-in shower. Other desirable facilities was a good sized swimming pool with a toddler section, recreation room offering table tennis, etc, so entertaining children was not a hassle. There is a well equipped gym on site. My grandson, a keen footballer was delighted to be invited by some young teenage boys to join in the Astro-turf pitch, which is rare in any hotel I have stayed. All floors are accessible by lifts with the added bonus of a listening to a short melodious piano piece whilst using it! There is a attached bar as the name indicates. The hotel has a restaurant on site offering breakfast , lunch dinner and room service with varied menu. The food was excellent with menus suitable for children, we had two young accompanying us. The hotel is on the main highway with easy access and railway tracks nearby so it is not a quiet neighbourhood. That said, the hotel is well sound proofed, the only noisy disturbance we observed was in the adjoining rooms by individuals, who perhaps had a drink too many! We enjoyed our stay and certainly recommend staying here.

Everything you read in the other reviews is true! To me, Vivek is the most helpful and kindest person I met in this trip and I won't forget him! he went out of his way to help me. As to the accomodation: The room is clean, the bed comfortable and although it's near the highway, it is quiet at night. I can warmly recommend Karippals Inn!

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing garden and swimming poll area on the lake shores! Staff is so helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with some ginger mixture when we had stomach issue. Gorgeous, indian decor, clean and spacious room (better book the one with lake view), good breakfast. Quite pricy but you have to pay for good standard in India. Nothing within walking distance (not an issue, just FYI), perfect for relax and doing nothing. :)

The host and family were very friendly. Divya made our stay very pleasant. We had keralat syled banana fritters for tea, They were excellent. In the morning we went for a Vallam (traditional boat, ride along the serene lotus flooded canal. OMG, it was awesome. Only Kumarakom can give us this beaut. Divya and Dhilieep took every initiatve to make our stay warm. The authentic traditional breakfast, puttu, was so deliciours, we loved every bit of it. The super clean rooms with panaromic views is what every tourist wants and we get it here.

This homestay is very relaxed. Nice clean, comfortable rooms and an amazing backyard. The location is a bit further from Alleppey, but in return you get a lot of tranquility, and the host is most willing to arrange transportation anywhere. The host is really an amazing guy. He's always ready to arrange whatever you wish for and help out anywhere he can. He organized a kayaking and boattour for us, including transport. The host also likes to invite you for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and makes the most delicious food, honestly or restaurant quality. Staying here is a wonderful experience.
