The host was charming and very welcoming. The dinner was excellent, the chef is a real talent. The peace of the area, a bit fewer folks up this way. The views. The cute chapel on site. The very interesting history of the property.

Very kind and cooperative staff! We were suprisingly upgraded for free with a room with its own bathroom and toilet. Despite we arrived more than one hour after the restaurant has been closed they arranged fo us lamb soups with bred and butter and various drinks. Everything was very delicios and we were impressed how big the soups were! The room was not very big, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. We have an excellent stay!

Framtid Camping Lodging Barrels is located in Djúpivogur. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests.

As guests we felt very much taken care of. I want to specifically acknowledge the wonderful staff, in particular Hogenes (?, sorry if i completely misspelled your name). Thanks for helping us out with a booking that I completely messed up. We stayed on the campground in one of the barrels. Lovely, comfy and the campground is well equipped (clean facilities, nice kitchen, excellent WiFi). Will come back with better booking skills.

Framtid Apartments and Holiday Homes is set in Djúpivogur. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Wonderful little village to stay. The summer house we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel next door (same owner) serves very tasty food.

The hostel is very well equipped. The staff is very accommodating; we arrived after the check-in time had ended but because we called earlier the staff stayed behind to greet us and give us the key with instructions. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean.

For my second stay at Lindarbrekka, I can say that this place is a real gem! The cabins are really cute and comfy, spacious, well equipped and clean. The view from the porch is absolutely stunning: you can have your breakfast while enjoying a nice sunrise over the fjords and the mountains. Really hard to beat, and the price is more than correct for what you're getting. The owners are really nice people. They offer private tours to discover the surrounding valleys. They live in the houses by the cabins (because it's their farm hehe) and it's really great to see that there are still nice places like this, run by real Icelanders. I will definitely come back!
